Une chasse au trésor

If you like to bring the look of France to your home, check out www.onekingslane.com, a retailer that specializes in flash sales where high quality new and vintage goods are up to 70% off. The selection changes daily and if you want something, act quickly before it’s gone. Each themed sale lasts up to 72 hours or until sold out. Our daughter is setting up her first home, so I’ve been on the site a lot lately looking for just the right pieces for her.

While they do not purport to specialize in French style goods, I’ve noticed that this look comes up day after day. Whether it be a rug that looks like the clock from the d’Orsay, like in the photograph at right, or a shower curtain with the Paris skyline, it’s a rare day that doesn’t have goods that make me think of my favorite place. The recent editorial, La Vie en Bleu, may help explain why. When the co-founder clearly loves France, it’s going to show in the selection of what’s for sale.

One King’s Lane’s motto is “A treasure hunt every day.” The French phrase for a treasure hunt is une chasse au trésor (oon shass owe trayzor). I hope you’ll enjoy your own treasure hunt on One King’s Lane, even if all you’re after is ideas from their lovely photographs.
