La Rosée du matin

So another prêt-à-porter Fashion Week has taken its final bows on the catwalks of Paris. Although I wasn’t there (students, classes, cats), I’ve followed the highlights from home. The designs that impressed me the most were by Vanessa Bruno.  She launched her first collection on 1996, after a successful career as a model, singer, and actress. Despite the impressive background, Bruno was only 24 at the time. Since then, she has become known for elegant basics with a twist, like her sequin covered tote bag. Bruno also has a fragrance inspired by la rosée du matin (lah rowzay due mahtahn), or “the morning dew.” That fresh naturalness came across in her latest collection.
