La Ribambelle

imageLa Ribambelle (lah rih-bam-bell) is a slangy word that means “a great quantity.” There’s a great quantity of Kusmi tea in the photo that I took in the Épicerie Européenne in Quebec City. Kusmi tea was founded in Russia, but the company relocated to Paris with the onset of the Russian Revolution. Isn’t the packaging beautiful? A whole ribambelle of Kusmi is even more beautiful.
