Cramoisi

imageCramoisi (kram-wah-zee) means crimson, the type of vivid red you see in this beautiful flower. I took this photo at the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in the sun-soaked south of France. Red is my favorite color. In autumn in New England, it’s always the scarlet leaves that capture my eye. I’m going to Vermont this weekend and hoping for lots of cramoisi.

Wonderful image of my favourite colour. Thank you very much for a nice start to Canadian Thanksgiving. Leaves here have hardly turned.

  2. Happy Thanksgiving to you! Have another slice of pumpkin pie on me.
