imageI saw a movie on Netflix that I really enjoyed, Contre-enquête (kon-truh ahn-ket) starring Jean Dujardin, before he was famous for his Oscar-winning performance in The Artist. In English, the title is Counter Investigation. The film is short, only an hour and twenty minutes, but packed with twists. The basic plot is that a police officer’s young daughter is brutally murdered. When doubts arise about whether or not the right man was convicted, the police officer himself leads an investigation that could lead to the prisoner’s exhoneration. Whenever you think you’ve figured it out, you haven’t. I realize that every country has different options on Netflix, so if you can’t see it there, it’s also available through Amazon. I love a good thriller, and if you do too, Contre-enquête is worth checking out.
